Meryl is an HR agile practitioner, and is a strong proponent in using data to track and measure change and identify opportunities. Meryl has led projects across diversity, change, target operating models, implementing HRIS’s and has also been an active member of executive and senior leadership teams. This was a combination of both permanent roles as well as consulting, eventually developing her skills in transformation and leadership. Meryl then moved on to become an HR generalist, working across multiple industries including financial services, engineering, professional services and tech start-ups, developing a strong balance between transactional and strategic HR. A key skill was managing stakeholders whether internally or externally. She started her HR journey in recruitment (in financial services), with a strong commitment to gain an in-depth understanding of the culture of the company to identify the best candidate that would be a culture addition to the company. Meryl joined Seaco as the Human Resources Director in February 2023.
